Couple Sought by West Covina Police After JC Penney Robbery

The couple with two children walked out of a JC Penny store at the Westfield mall in West Covina with stolen items stuffed in a baby stroller.

West Covina police sought the public's help today in finding a couple with two children who walked out of a JC Penny store at the Westfield mall in West Covina with stolen items stuffed in a baby stroller.

The shaved-head man of the family was wearing shoes he had put on inside the store as he fought with a security guard who tried to stop his wife Feb. 24, according to West Covina police Officer Rudy Lopez.

When the security guard stopped the woman as she and the children were trying to leave, the man came over and punched him in the face, chased him back into the store and knocked him down, fracturing his nose, Lopez said.
