INDUSTRY, CA —A worker suffered a significant injury when the forklift he was driving fell off of a loading dock in the City of Industry, Monday afternoon, the Los Angeles County Fire Department officials confirmed.

The 29-year-old man's arm was pinned under the heavy machinery, and technical rescue was called, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Firefighters from Station 87 arrived on the scene first, and were able to free the victim by using another forklift, Capt. Emanuel Samping told Patch. The victim suffered "a partial arm amputation" during the incident.
