Hope to Be Delivered for Cancer Patients at Baldwin Park
One thousand bouquets of daffodils will be delivered to cancer patients at Kaiser Permanente in Baldwin Park.
On Tuesday March 19, one thousand bouquets of daffodils will be delivered to cancer patients at Kaiser Permanente's Baldwin Park Medical Center as part of American Cancer Society's Daffodil Days campaign.
The hospital's employees raised more than $18,000 for the American Cancer Society's Daffodil Days campaign, which supports cancer research, free patient and caregiver services and prevention and early detection programs.
Kaiser Permanente Baldwin Park Medical Center has been partnering with American Cancer Society since 1998, according to Maria Lengerke, director of Public Affairs.

For more than 35 years, the Daffodil Days program has empowered people to make a difference in the fight against cancer. Each spring, the Society offers daffodils to donors in appreciation for a contribution.

This is the 16th year FedEx has supported Daffodil Days nationwide, and FedEx Express and FedEx Ground will be delivering millions of flowers to donors and patients in nine states.
