Gusts Knock Down Power Line on Maine Avenue
Baldwin Park Police said there was a power outage affecting some residents.

A downed power line on Maine Avenue just south of Merced Avenue caused a small power outage Monday Afternoon in Baldwin Park.
According to a Baldwin Park Police watch commander, "a few residents were affected by the power outage". There was no official number of residents affected.
The road was closed around 2:00 p.m. between Merced Avenue and Durness Street.

According to Southern California Edison, high winds are still expected Monday night through Tuesday for the regions. SCE reminds its customers that outages may occur and to never approach or touch downed power lines.
