I-10 Westbound Stalls After Large Diesel Spill
California Highway Patrol Officers launched a SIGALERT Monday afternoon due to the amount of fuel dumped from a tractor-trailer truck.

BALDWIN PARK, CA — Drivers heading westbound on I-10 Monday afternoon were delayed for hours following an enormous fuel spill, California Highway Patrol reported.
Drivers reported seeing and smelling the fuel dump from a big rig that came to a rest on the right shoulder following a flat tire, CHP said. A
sweeper tank and crew were on scene as of 3:45 p.m., cleaning the mess.

CHP established a two hour SIGALERT for the #5 lane, westbound I-10 at Grand Avenue, and also just east of Grand Avenue, that was expected to last until 4:30 p.m., they reported.
