'Jerry Had A Smile Like No Other' Baldwin Park Family Mourns Loss
A Baldwin Park family is still shocked and saddened at the sudden and tragic death of their son and family member.
BALDWIN PARK, CA — The family of Jerry Zarate was shocked and saddened to learn of his sudden passing on Nov. 25. A resident of Baldwin Park, Zarate and his family are in great need for donations for his funeral, a family friend said.
"I’m Jerry's cousin," Denise Rivera wrote on the GoFund page established for Jerry's family. "I still, like many people who knew him, can not believe this tragic news."
Though the family was distant, Rivera described her love for her cousin.

"We will miss Jerry, but everything is going to be okay, as we overcome the pain day by day until we hug Jerry again," she said.
A request for funeral expenses was made through GoFund.
