BALDWIN PARK (CNS) - A man was shot and killed in Baldwin Park this morning, authorities said. The shooting happened around 12:15 a.m. at the intersection of Los Angeles Street and Merced Avenue, said Deputy Peter Gomez of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Headquarters Bureau.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, Gomez said. His body was found on bus stop bench, a news photographer reported from the scene.
Sheriff's Homicide Bureau detectives were dispatched to assist Baldwin Park police in the shooting investigation.
