A motorcyclist was killed Wednesday night in a collision involving a big rig that left the scene on the Pomona (60) Freeway in South El Monte.
The crash happened at 6:35 p.m. on the eastbound side of the freeway west of Peck Road, California Highway Patrol Officer Tatiana Sauquillo said.

The victim, a 30-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene, said CHP Officer Patrick Kimball.
The big rig did not stop and its driver was being sought, he said.

The crash closed three eastbound lanes of the freeway, Kimball said.
All lanes were reopened by around 10 p.m., he said.
