Parole Checks Leads to Nine Arrests in Baldwin Park
Baldwin Park Police Department and L.A. County Sheriff's Department completed a parole term compliance check.

A total of 9 people were arrested in Baldwin Park last Thursday after a parole-compliance check conducted by the Baldwin Park Police Department (BPPD) and Los Angeles County authorities.
All 9 detainees are residents of the city and were arrested on charges ranging from possession of narcotics, paraphernalia and other violations of parole terms.
According to Lt. David Reynoso, spokesperson from the BPPD, the operation was targeted toward people on parole who were released by the state recently.

Authorities recovered 6 firearms during the operation, said Reynoso.
"The purpose of this detail was to ensure these subjects remain in compliance with the conditions of their release," said Reynoso in a statement. "This also serves as a preventive measure to improve the quality of life of the citizens of this community."
