School District Names New Superintendent
Baldwin Park Unified doesn't have to look far to find Paul Sevillano's successor.

Supervisors on the board of the Baldwin Park Unified School District couldn’t reach a unanimous decision, but they they were able to sign off on the naming a new superintendent this past week.
Froilan Mendoza will be the permanent replacement for Paul Sevillano, who resigned in September. Since that time, Mendoza—who has been with the district for 16 years—served in an interim capacity in place of his former boss.
Mendoza will have a base salary of almost $230,000, according to the San Gabriel Valley Tribune.
