Streak of Rising Gasoline Prices Ends In L.A County

A 15-day streak of increases ended Monday when the average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped one-tenth of a cent to $4.14.

The average price rose 15.8 cents over the past 15 days, including a half-cent on Sunday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The cheapest gas price in Baldwin Park is $3.96 at Puente Valero, located at 3660 Puente Avenue, according to Mapquest. 

The average price is 12.2 cents more than one week ago, 6.7 cents higher than one month ago and 29 cents greater than one year ago.

A 16-day streak of increases in Orange County ended today when the average price dropped four-tenths of a cent to $4.118.

The Orange County average price increased 17.6 cents over the past 16 days, including four-tenths of a cent on Sunday. It is 12.2 cents more than one week ago, 7.6 cents higher than one month ago and 30.7 cents greater than one year ago.
