Suspected Suicide Victim Found Hanging from Tree in West Covina

An apparent suicide victim was found hanging from a tree in West Covina according to the San Gabriel Valley Tribune.

The newspaper reported on Sunday that a passerby discovered a man handing from a tree about 2:40 p.m. toward the south end of the wilderness park located at 1620 Aroma Avenue.

Police did not find any signs of foul play, and the death was initially being investigated as a suicide, said the newspaper.

On March, a suicidal young man attempted to hang himself in the Hilda Solis Park in Baldwin Park, but thanks to a good samaritan the young man was rescued before he died.
