The Lottery and pollution were among the top stories for the week of April 22. Check out the list below:
1. Out of the top 10 most polluted cities in California, Baldwin Park is ranked at number 7. The figures come from a new state report issued by the California Environmental Protection Agency and the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA).Â
2. The Powerball ticket with $280,000 prize that was sold in Jay's Market went to a guy who got off the freeway to avoid traffic. The lucky guy plans to fix up his house and deposit money in his daughter’s college fund.Â

3. Crime also was reported during the week. Monrovia Police officers arrested a Baldwin Park man on suspicion of burglary Wednesday after a resident allegedly tried to chase him down.
4. Students from Baldwin Park High School were among 24 Southern California schools participating in a special concert at Walt Disney Concert Hall: The 2013 Los Angeles Master Chorale's High School Choir Festival.
