Two Baldwin Park Residents Arrested for Car Burglaries
John Escalara, 34, and Cameron Dennis, 18, both of Baldwin Park, were arrested as car burglars in Pico Rivera Wednesday.

Three men wearing hoodies, including two from Baldwin Park, were nabbed as car burglars in Pico Rivera Wednesday as the result of an alert resident, authorities said.
The witness saw the suspect breaking into a vehicle in the 9200 block of Isora Street about 6:30 a.m., said Lt. Steve Katz of the sheriff's Pico Rivera Station.
Deputies located the suspects after being alerted of what was going on. The suspects were identified by the witness, Katz said.

Taken into custody were Damacio Gallegos, 39, of Albuquerque, N.M., John Escalara, 34, and Cameron Dennis, 18, both of Baldwin Park.
They were charged with burglary and bail was set at $20,000 each.

Detectives are working to determine if the suspects committed additional burglaries in Pico Rivera and Whittier.
