Drive-ins theaters were a national phenomenon that defined an era in American society.

They brought together cars and movies. Now only a few remain in the USA, and their numbers are going down each year.

But some drive-in theaters like the one close to Baldwin Park are going strong. 

Vineland Drive-In movie theater, the only drive-in still operating in Los Angeles County, upgraded last week their traditional 35 mm projectors to digital projection.
