The assembly included storytime and a review of the artwork in "Dr. Seuss's Horse Museum" by Ted Geisel and illustrated by Andrew Joyner. Peregrina served as the art tour guide and discussed with students how the different artists in the book see horses and how these different visions create personalized, unique art.
Walnut Elementary has celebrated art during distance learning with in-depth arts lessons for students every Wednesday.
