Windy, Rainy Conditions Expected to Last Through Tuesday

The National Weather Service issued a special weather statement Monday warning of windy, rainy conditions that are expected to continue in Baldwin Park through Tuesday.

A low pressure system moving into the area will bring "cold, showery and windy condtions to southwest California through Tuesday," the NWS statement reads.

Thunderstorms are also possible and could produce "brief but heavy downpours." The inclement weather is expected to taper off on Tuesday afternoon.

Here's Baldwin Park's 7-day forecast, according to NWS:

• This Afternoon: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 66. South southwest wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
• Tonight: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 56. South southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light and variable in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
• Tuesday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 66. East wind 5 to 10 mph becoming south in the afternoon.
• Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 54. Southwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
• Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 69. Light and variable wind becoming southwest 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.
• Wednesday Night: Patchy fog after 11pm. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 54.
• Thursday: Patchy fog before 11am. Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 73.
• Thursday: Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 59.
• Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 77.
• Friday: Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 61.
• Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 82.
• Saturday: Night Mostly clear, with a low around 62.
• Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 82.
