2 Arrests, Third Suspect Sought In Beaumont Residential Burglary
A third suspect, Mataeo Waring, 19, of San Jacinto remained at large, Beaumont police said.

BEAUMONT, CA β Two men suspected of burglarizing a Beaumont home have been arrested, but police are asking the public to help find a third suspect.
Mahmoud Fahti Salah, 19, and Nicholas Almejo, 19, both of Hemet, were taken into custody Thursday by Beaumont police and booked into Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility on suspicion of conspiracy and burglary in connection with the Feb. 2. break-in in the 1400 block of Midnight Sun Drive.
Bail for each man was set at $35,000, according to jail records.

A third suspect, Mataeo Waring, 19, of San Jacinto remained at large, Beaumont police said.
During the burglary investigation, police found a suspect vehicle that contained $5,000 in cash, masks and gloves. The discovery led to additional search warrants that turned up cell phones and ammunition linked, according to the Beaumont Police Department.

Then on Feb. 5, a hiker reported finding passports on a Hemet trail. When police got to the location, it was discovered the passports belonged to the Midnight Sun Drive burglary victims. A safe stolen from the home was also found, Beaumont police said.
Salah and Almejo were eventually traced to the burglary and arrested in Hemet, according to police.
Waring may be staying in the city of San Bernardino, police said.
The trio may be responsible for other Beaumont residential burglaries, according to the department.
"The suspects are under investigation for additional burglaries in the City of Beaumont over the last several months and further charges may be added," the department said.
