Beaumont will add these five names to the local Veteran's Memorial.

From the City of Beaumont: The City of Beaumont will host its Annual Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 28 at 11:00 a.m. to honor the enormous sacrifices made by those serving in our armed forces. It is with pride that we inscribe the name, rank and military branch of local residents who selflessly served our county during their lifetime. Please join us as we honor and pay tribute to these special members of our community:
- Walter John Mulvihill, Navy, WT3
- Albert Basil Campbell, Air Force, SGT
- Melvin Kocher, Air Force, SGT
- Frank C. Suddarth, Marine Corp, PFC
- Ernest J. Turner Jr., Army, Sp-4
The Veteranβs Memorial is located at the Beaumont Civic Center, 550 E. 6th Street and honors deceased military personnel who lived in Beaumont or Cherry Valley while on active duty, or who died later in those communities after their military service ended.
