69-Year-Old Woman With Dementia Vanishes From Riverside, Help Sought

RIVERSIDE, CA — A Silver Alert continued Tuesday for a 69-year-old woman with dementia who has been missing in Riverside County for over a week.

Teri Kourkos walked away from a residential care facility at about 12 p.m. Sept. 23 and has not been seen since. She was recently placed in the facility in the 8700 block of Martel Lane, near Indiana Avenue and Monroe Street, in Riverside.

Kourkos is not familiar with Riverside and had previously lived in the Corona area near El Cerrito and the 15 Freeway, according to Riverside police.

"She suffers from dementia and mental health health conditions and does not have her daily medications with her," police said.

Kourkos is described as white, with gray hair and blue eyes. She is 5 feet four inches tall and weighs approximately 230 pounds.

She was last seen wearing glasses (similar to those shown in the attached photo) and a red floral dress.
