Amber Alert: Kidnapped 4-Year-Old Boy Found Safe: Reports

Justin Chan was found safe in Long Beach at 8 p.m., more than 2 hours after he was abducted.

LONG BEACH, CA β€” 4-year-old Justin Chan is safe, according to media reports.

KTLA reports that shortly before 8 p.m., police located a stolen car with Justin still inside on Pine Avenue near The Pike Outlets shopping mall in Long Beach. Aerial images show the vehicle surrounded by multiple police cars.

Justin was abducted at 5:46 p.m. near Linden Avenue and 1st Street in Long Beach when his parent stepped outside and away from the car, leaving the engine running, as Justin was strapped inside, according to Long Beach police. The suspect got into the car and drove off.

The CHP issued an Amber Alert, prompting law enforcement throughout the area to be on the lookout for the gray 2021 Honda Accord.
