"Weak to moderate strength offshore winds will produce significant warming for the Thanksgiving Holiday, especially for the coast and valleys," according to the weather service. "For Friday, light offshore winds and weak high pressure aloft will bring continued fair weather and warmer than normal conditions."

If you're planning on hitting the road for some holiday travel, forecasters said the wind may make for hazardous driving conditions, especially for motorists in high-profile vehicles.
