Banning Downtown Car Show Postponed, Rain Predicted
Stop polishing those cars, Banning. Saturday's car show will be rescheduled. Here's what to know.
BANNING, CA β The downtown Banning car show is canceled this weekend due to expected inclement weather, event organizers said.
According to the National Weather Service, rain and thundershowers were expected Saturday.
"The car show scheduled for Saturday, September 30th, is postponed until further notice. The committee overseeing the event has not yet announced a new date," according to the Banning Chamber of Commerce.

The inclement weather was expected to begin after 11 a.m., along with patchy fog. Wind and rain amounts in as much as a tenth or a quarter of an inch were possible through the evening with temperatures around 63 degrees, the National Weather Service said.
Information on the rescheduling of the car show has yet to be released.
