Banning Police Need Help With Homicide Investigation

On June 27, 2015 at approximately 3:44 p.m., Banning Police Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of E. Barbour Street in reference to a reported shooting at the location.

Upon arrival, officers located a male victim on the ground, with gunshot injuries. EMS personnel arrived on scene but despite first aid efforts, the victim died of his injuries.

This is an ongoing investigation.

Identification of the victim is being withheld pending notification of the family.
