Agency spokeswoman Sol Avila said investigators learned Rincon was a "family friend who frequents" the victim's home.

"(Investigators) also discovered that the abuse had been occurring since September 2022," Avila said.

Detectives obtained sufficient evidence to procure an arrest warrant, which was served on the suspect at her apartment on Westward Avenue Thursday, when she was taken into custody without incident.

Background information on Rincon was unavailable.
