Beaumont Man Accused In Groping Incident, Other Victims Sought

Khristopher Charles Salinas, 26, of Beaumont is accused of groping a woman as she jogged in Redlands.

BEAUMONT, CA — A Beaumont man charged with sexual battery in San Bernardino County may have victimized others who have not come forward, police reported this week.

Khristopher Charles Salinas, 26, is accused of groping a woman as she jogged in the 1300 block of Grove Street in Redlands. The alleged November incident occurred as Salinas drove up alongside the woman and reached out of his car to grab her, according to the Redlands Police Department, which is now seeking additional victims.

During last fall's incident, Salinas drove away, but investigators were able to identify his vehicle using automated license plate reader cameras, which led to the Beaumont resident, police said.
