Beaumont Shooting Leaves Man Critically Wounded
Police are searching for the suspect(s).
BEAUMONT, CA β An early morning shooting Tuesday in Beaumont critically injured one man, and police are continuing their search for a shooter.
The shooting was reported at approximately 1:17 a.m. in the area of Beaumont Avenue and Cougar Way, the Beaumont Police Department reported.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a wounded man slumped inside a vehicle. He was suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a hospital by ground ambulance, but an update on his condition was not provided.

There were reports of a possible second victim and/or suspect spotted in the parking area behind the Stater Bros. Market on Beaumont Avenue and Oak Valley Parkway.
Banning police and the Riverside County Sheriffβs Department Aviation Unit assisted Beaumont police with a search but were unable to find a suspect or additional victims.
