Body Of Beaumont Man Recovered From Palm Springs Trail
The Palm Springs Police Department was investigating the incident.
PALM SPRINGS, CA β The body of a Beaumont man was recovered Tuesday from Tahquitz Canyon in Palm Springs.
John Forsyth, 66, was injured just after 3 p.m. Tuesday at Lykken Trail Creek and died there about 90 minutes later, according to the Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner's Bureau.
The location coordinates reported by the coroner's bureau show Forsyth's body was found about halfway between the Tahquitz Canyon Visitor's Center and Tahquitz Falls. His cause and manner of death were under investigation.
