Body Found In Drainage Ditch Near Beaumont: CHP Investigating
The discovery was made off Interstate 10, east of Pennsylvania Avenue.
BEAUMONT, CA β The California Highway Patrol said it is continuing to investigate circumstances surrounding a body discovered Wednesday morning in a drainage ditch off Interstate 10 near Beaumont.
Officer Jason Montez of the California Highway Patrol San Gorgonio Pass Area said units were called around 10:13 a.m. regarding "a deceased male" found in the ditch located east of Pennsylvania Avenue.
As of Thursday, the identity of the deceased was still pending, and Montez said no new information was available.

Circumstances surrounding the death are under investigation and unknown at this time, according to the lawman.
