CA Among Best States To Work Remotely, New Ranking Says

CALIFORNIA β California is among the best states to work remotely, according to a recent ranking from employment website developersforhire.com.
The Golden State came in fifth on the list, which evaluated states based on cost of living, internet speed, recreation and nightlife, outdoor beauty, community engagement and percentage of remote employees.
California offers a range of environments, from smaller forested communities in the northern part of the state to big cities along the coast, the website noted, adding nearly 30 percent of adults in California already live in a household with a remote worker.

"California is an excellent spot for remote workers on the higher end of the pay scale," the website said, noting the state's lofty cost of living.
