Celebrate 4th Of July In Beaumont With Concerts, Fireworks: 2023

Residents of Beaumont and the Pass Area are gathering to celebrate the annual Freedom Festival in an all-day event at Stewart Park.

BEAUMONT, CAβ€” Stewart Park is the place to be on the 4th of July in Beaumont, according to the city. There, a full day of fun, music, and festivities is planned at Stewart Park, located at 985 Maple Avenue. The early 90s band, Dramarama, will take the main stage at 5 p.m., followed by the 1980s group, A Flock of Seagulls at 7:30 p.m.

Expect tunes such as "Anything" from Dramarama and "I Ran (So Far Away)" by A Flock of Seagulls.

The fireworks display was scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. in a perfect spectacular end to the day.

"It's an all-day event featuring food, fun, and free entertainment," the city spokesperson said. Residents can take part in a family-friendly tailgate zone and block party, and vendors for gift items, souvenirs, and food will be on hand. Expect concerts throughout the day will culminate with a fireworks display.

"There's something for everyone," they said. "Alcohol, pets and smoking/vaping are not permitted during this special event."

Road closures will be in effect throughout the day, blocking off the event zone:

  • 9th Street - between Orange Avenue & Maple Avenue
  • 10th Street - between Orange Avenue & Maple Avenue
  • Orange Avenue - between 8th Street and 10th Street
  • Maple Avenue - between 8th Street and 10th Street

Inside the event:

  • Market Night & Kids Zone – Local food and merchandise vendors along with children's activities hosted by Venture Church will be located on 10th Street from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Beer Booth - Hosted by Beaumont Lions Club
  • Skate Park – The skate park is open to BMX bikes, skateboards and scooters until 3:45 p.m.
  • BBQ Zone – Vehicles, BBQing and socializing are welcome in the northernmost section of the park located near 11th Street.
  • Entertainment – Concerts take place near 9th Street & Maple Avenue. Guests are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets and shade canopies.

The main entertainment events of the evening:

  • 5 p.m. – Dramarama
  • 7:30 p.m. A Flock of Seagulls
  • 9 p.m. - Fireworks
