Christian School Teacher Accused Of Sexual Battery Against Students

More victims are sought in the case.

REDLANDS, CA β€” Investigators believe a teacher at Redlands Adventist Academy inappropriately touched at least five female students, ages 14 to 17, and there may be more victims.

On May 7, Redlands Police responded to the Seventh-day Adventist K-12 private school at 130 Tennessee Street regarding allegations of sexual battery by the male teacher against several female students over a period of approximately three years. The most recent alleged incident occurred in April.

The teacher, whose identity was not released, was placed on administrative leave by the school pending an administrative investigation. The Redlands Police Department is conducting a separate criminal investigation into the allegations and is seeking any additional victims, according to the law enforcement agency.

According to its website, Redlands Adventist Academy opened in 1903 and enrolls about 400 students annually.
