Counterfeit $100 Bills Found Inside Stolen U-Haul In Beaumont
In addition to the fake bills, gang task force officers also found scanners, cleaning agents, stolen checks, and stolen mail.

BEAUMONT, CA β A stolen U-Haul box van found in Beaumont that contained counterfeit $100 bills was recovered and two men were arrested, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department announced Wednesday.
According to the department, at 9:08 p.m. January 28, a traffic stop was conducted on the U-Haul in the 600 block of American Avenue by members of the San Gorgonio Special Operations Regional Gang Task Force.
"A record check of the U-Haulβs license plate confirmed the U-Haul was a reported stolen vehicle," according to Sgt. Mike Bennett.

Demetrius Williams, 35, of Long Beach was behind the wheel and was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of a stolen vehicle; the passenger, Tury Alvarado, 46, of Beaumont was arrested on suspicion of narcotics possession, Bennett said.
Arrest records were not available for either man.
