Crash Prompts Full Shutdown Of Southbound SR-79 Near Beaumont
All southbound lanes were blocked as of 2:15 p.m. and there was no timetable for reopening.
RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA β A crash on southbound state Route 79, just south of Beaumont, has prompted a Sigalert and preliminary reports indicate wind may have been a factor in the wreck.
The crash involving a trailer and SUV was reported around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday on the highway at Gilman Springs Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
All southbound lanes were blocked as of 2:15 p.m. and there was no timetable for reopening.
