Driver Killed In Early Morning Crash ID'd As Beaumont Resident

A 29-year-old Beaumont woman had been identified as the driver who was killed when an SUV left a 210 Freeway overcrossing road in Redlands.

BEAUMONT, CA -- A driver who was killed an an SUV ran off a connector road between the eastbound 10 Freeway and westbound 210 Freeway early Sunday morning has been identified as a Beaumont resident.

The San Bernardino County Coroner’s office said Monday that the driver was a 29-year-old Beaumont woman, Karina Sarah Bernas. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash was reported shortly after 3 a.m. Sunday; witnesses said the SUV left the elevated roadway at its highest point, according to the CHP log; wreckage was strewn across the area.

Bernas was only person involved in the crash.
