
Some Riverside CountyΒ residents were rattled Dec. 30Β by earthquakesΒ southwest of Idyllwild andΒ south ofΒ Palm Desert.
Monday morning residents living on the Riverside-San Diego County line were rocked by a magnitude-3.3 temblor.Β The quake struck at 10:33 a.m. and was centered approximately 23 miles south of Palm Desert, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
Then at 3:44 p.m. Monday, another earthquake was reported two miles southwest of Idyllwild, which registered a magnitude-3.7, the USGS reported.
Neither quake caused any reported damage or injuries.
