Fatal Beaumont Crash: Motorcyclist ID'd By Coroner.

The Riverside County Coroner's Office identified the motorcyclist killed in a crash early Tuesday morning.

BEAUMONT, CA β€” A 27-year-old motorcyclist died after crashing into another vehicle in Beaumont, the Riverside County Coroner's Office spokesperson reported Tuesday.

Emergency officials arrived at the 800 block of 4th Street, near the Nicholas Road intersection in Beaumont to find one person had died after a motorcycle and vehicle collided.

"The motorcycle rider perished at the scene," a Cal Fire spokesperson reported. "There were no other injuries."

According to Beaumont police, the rider, later identified as Christopher Anderson of San Jacinto, was traveling at an unknown speed when his bike and the car impacted, though the specific circumstances were still under investigation.

Witnesses called 911, and Riverside County Fire Department paramedics reached the location a short time later, at which point the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

A passenger inside the car suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment, according to police statements. The driver, also not identified, was not hurt and remained at the scene of the crash. The motorist was questioned by officers and was not arrested.
