Fire At Beaumont Pallet Manufacturing Facility Contained

BEAUMONT, CA ? A commercial fire that broke out early Thursday afternoon in Beaumont was contained, but crews were expected to remain on scene for several hours.

The blaze was reported at 12:21 p.m. at a pallet manufacturing facility in the 1000 block of E. 3rd Street, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

The fire established itself in the building's ducting, but crews were able to contain the blaze to two of the structure's silos, the fire department said.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
