Fire Displaces 4 People, 6 Pets In San Jacinto

SAN JACINTO, CA β€” Fire forced four people and six pets out of their home in San Jacinto Wednesday evening.

Firefighters responded about 9:20 p.m. to the 400 block of Third Street, where they contained the flames to one bedroom in the residence, according to the Riverside County fire Department.

A total of four adults, four dogs and two cats were assisted by the American Red Cross in finding a place to stay, the department said.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
