Fire Truck, RV Crash On I-10 In Banning, Prompting Major Delays

BREAKING: Motorists should expect major delays when driving through the Pass Area on Saturday.

BANNING, CA β€” Motorists traveling on Interstate 10 in the Pass Area faced a miles-long back up on Saturday afternoon after a fire truck and a motorhome crashed. The wreck happened just before 10 a.m. on the eastbound side of the freeway, near Hargrave Street.

According to preliminary California Highway Patrol reports, a Riverside County Fire Department fire engine collided with a RV at 9:58 a.m.

Images from the scene show the fire truck ended up hanging off the side of the roadway. Minor injuries were reported.
