Full Freeway Closures Scheduled Across IE For SCE Survey Work
The daytime work will require full closures with traffic breaks of up to 10 minutes at each location on Saturday and Sunday. See list below.
INLAND EMPIRE, CA β Caltrans District 8 announced Tuesday that Southern California Edison will be conducting survey instrument installation work on various Inland Empire freeways this weekend, requiring full short-term shutdowns that will jam traffic.
"The work will require full closures with traffic breaks of up to 10 minutes at each location during approximate specified hours (see schedule below)," the agency said.
Motorists are advised that the California Highway Patrol will be conducting traffic breaks and travelers should allow extra time to reach their destinations.

The following routes will be impacted:
Saturday, June 5

Work will take place between 2-5 p.m. on State Route 62 in Yucca Valley, near Hoopa Trail
Sunday, June 6 β work will take place from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.:
Interstate 10 in Ontario, west of Etiwanda
I-10 in Colton at Interstate 215
State Route 210 in Fontana near Interstate 15
I-215 in San Bernardino north of 5th Street
Sunday, June 6 β work will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.:
State Route 60 in Moreno Valley at I-215
State Route 71 in Chino Hills between Grand Avenue and Pipeline Road
State Route 79 in Riverside County, north of Scott Road
State Route 91 in Corona, east of SR-71 to I-15
State Route 91 in Riverside at the 60/91/215 Interchange
I-215 in Moreno Valley at SR-60
