Learn About Beaumont Police Dept. During 10-Week 'Citizens Academy'

BEAUMONT, CA β Hey Beaumont, are you interested in how your police department operates? Here's your chance to get behind the scenes.
Enrollment for the Beaumont Police Department's Fall Citizens Academy is currently open.
The 10-week program is designed to educate participants on the "hows and whys of your police department operations and services," according to the agency.

The fall academy will be held Wednesday evenings, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., September 6 to November 8, with an optional volunteer week November 15. There is no cost to attend the program.
"Each week will include new information about the department, including presentations and demonstrations from officers and professional staff. At the end of the academy, all participants will receive a certificate," the police department said.
