Mayor Lloyd White raised taxes in Beaumont in 2017

Councilman White who is running for State Senate has claimed he lowered taxes in Beaumont by 4 million dollars a year? From the city records and agendas in 2017, he voted to add new special taxes for facilities, police services and other services that never existed before. He unbundled the services. Police and Fire services are supposed are to be paid for via the General Fund or you have a special tax if everyone in the city voted on it. That's not what happened here. He created a caste system, which the property owners in these new CFD areas, could if they wanted to, repeal the special tax portion for services. Why he did this I don't know other than to get Political favor with the Beaumont Police Association who gave him a large campaign donation. He claimed that he had to raise the fees as they had not been raised for over 20 years. (A direct quote from him on face book)

He is a pathetic liar, who lied about having no emails or correspondence with him hiring the city attorney who charges up to $130,000 dollars a month. He has approved city contracts for at least four firms that have partnership/ financial ties to his employer. He got the city to hire Tyler Tech for IT support etc. They are an ERSI partner located in Plano Texas. Why is the city outsourcing its work out of state and to a company with financial ties to White? (Link to website

There are several other questionable things White has done with wasteful spending. We don't need him in Sacramento and we need the District Attorney to prosecute him for his violations of the government code and remove him from office.
