A Month After Pregnant Woman Vanished, Beaumont Police Still Searching

BEAUMONT, CA β A pregnant woman who vanished in Beaumont a month ago remains missing, and police released updated details this week about the case with the hope that someone has information that leads to her whereabouts.
Cajairah Jae Friase, 22, of Moreno Valley was last seen around 10:39 p.m. Feb. 23. She was with her parents that night. The family had stopped at the Jack in the Box restaurant at 89 Beaumont Avenue, but the young woman became upset and walked away from their vehicle, according to police.
It's not clear what was troubling Friase, who was 35 weeks pregnant at the time. Surveillance footage captured her leaving the area, and no one has seen her since.

By now, she may have had the baby, police said.
Fraise lived with her parents, and detectives searched for more information via the family and friends. Investigators were also reviewing additional surveillance footage from the area, drone searches, social media postings, phone records, as well as places where Friase worked and frequented, police said.

Missing person flyers were distributed to local and regional law enforcement agencies, and word was sent to area hospitals, mental health facilities, shelters, and other organizations in Riverside County, San Bernardino County, and Nevada, police reported.
Nothing has turned up.
Police announced this week that the family is not cooperating with the investigation. Fraise's parents reported her missing the day after her disappearance and told investigators they delayed in the hope they could find their daughter, according to police.
Patch was unable to reach Fraise's parents for comment.
According to police, Friase identifies as Black and stands 5 feet 7 inches tall. She weighs approximately 154 pounds and has brown eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a black shawl, black hoodie, gray sweatpants and black slip-on shoes.
