LOS ANGELES β As the weekend wraps, we've rounded up some of the stories you may have missed Saturday and Sunday to prepare you for Monday.
But before we jump into SoCal's other top stories: Warm and muggy weather β and a few isolated thunderstorms β are in the forecast for Monday before a cooling trend drops temperatures below average for the rest of the week.

Forecasters in Los Angeles see a noticeably cooler and "very quiet" run of weather ahead for the Southland, with highs averaging 4 to 8 degrees below normal by Wednesday. Long-range models suggest the pattern may stick around for the foreseeable future, and things may even get cooler next week. Little to no precipitation is expected.
