Multi-Family Building Damaged By Fire In Banning

BANNING, CA β€” A fire damaged a multi-family structure in Banning Wednesday night, but there were no reports of injuries.

The blaze was reported at 7:06 p.m. in the 500 block of Hathaway Street, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

When firefighters arrived on the scene, they saw heavy smoke coming from the two-story building's attic, the agency said. About 30 minutes later, crews knocked down the blaze but they remained at the location to mop up.
