Pedestrian Killed On 91 Freeway Onramp, SigAlert Issued

RIVERSIDE, CA — A pedestrian was struck and killed Monday night by a motorist on the Tyler Street onramp to eastbound state Route 91 in Riverside.

The incident was reported at approximately 8:15 p.m.

A SigAlert was issued and remained in effect as of 10:10 p.m. In addition to the onramp, the freeway's #3 lane was closed.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident. No further information was available.

At 10 p.m., a second crash was reported on eastbound 91 at Tyler Street.

Expect delays in the area.
