Pedestrian Killed in Moreno Valley is Identified
She was killed Tuesday evening while crossing John F. Kennedy Drive.

A woman who was fatally struck by a car while crossing a street in Moreno Valley was identified by coronerβs officials today as a 64-year-old resident of the city.
Gloria Holmes was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which was reported at 6:04 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of John F. Kennedy Drive and Pepper Court.
Emergency responders arrived to find Holmes lying in the street, unresponsive, sheriffβs Sgt. Bill Guimont said. Deputies determined she was struck by a vehicle while crossing John F. Kennedy Drive.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators, Guimont said.
The investigation prompted closure of John F. Kennedy Drive in the area for about three hours.
