BANNING, CA ? A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a train late Sunday in Banning, authorities said.
The crash happened at 9:23 p.m. on Highland Springs Avenue, south of Interstate 10, according to Cal Fire and the Riverside County Fire Department.
An ambulance took the victim to a trauma center, fire officials said.
