The new In-N-Out Burger in CabazonΒ opened for business Wednesday and plenty of people came for burgers, fries and shakesΒ before the noon hour.
Vehicles in the drive-thru lane backed up on the asphalt surrounding theΒ adjacentΒ Morongo Travel Center, and numerous In-N-Out employees took orders in personΒ from waiting motorists.
The restaurantΒ at 49188 Seminole DriveΒ employs about 50 In-N-Out Burger associates, according to management.Β There's one drive-thru lane and seating for 85 guests. Cabazon In-N-Out management plan toΒ open daily, 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 a.m., and until 1:30 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
The on-site manager of the Cabazon restaurant is Gus Bonell, a 20-year veteran withΒ In-N-Out.
